Scientific paper

An outline of a method to determine the expansion of negative powers of the mutual distance between to planets is presented. The method is similar to that using the concept of differential operators (Kamel, 1988) based on the analysis of Smart (1960). The method presented does take differential operators into account, but uses the Taylor expansion for functions of several variables, neglecting powers higher than the fourth in the eccentricity and inclination.
