Polar Motion: Chandler Wobble

The author gives a review of the estimations of water distribution contribution to the excitation of polar motion. There are two contrary opinions of its contribution to the annual excitation and much discrepancies to the Chandler excitation. He gives an introduction to the theory of the water distribution excitation and analyses the influences of a hydrological model on the excitation.
