The orbital evolution of binary systems consisting of a close Be star-neutron star pair is studied and predictions of its behavior are made. There should be substantial capture of material by the neutron star near periastron. The radio emission should be undetectable there, and the system may turn on as an X-ray source at this point. It may be possible to detect the present sign of Delta J by determining if the accretion bow shock leads or lags the motion of the neutron star.
