Due to the effects of accretion and Blandford-Znajek process, the central black holes in active galactic nuclei evolve with time and the dimensionless angular momentum gets spin up to a stable value. Thus the central hole will not become an extreme Kerr black hole, and the third law of thermodynamics will not be violated. The existence of an equilibrium state of the hole is qualitatively independent of the geometry of the disk. The final stable value of the dimensionless angular momentum can be determined by the intensity of the BZ process and disk geometry.
