The matter in the universe is organized in systems. Each system on the macroscopic level, such as e.g. stars and galaxies, has its evolution cycle with a counterpart in microphysics. On the level of stars, the evolution cycle is well established; its counterpart in microphysics is nuclear fusion. Furthermore, observations show that an evolution cycle is present also on the level of galaxies and galaxy groups. It is governed by the massive object in the galactic center. Its counterpart in microphysics is suggested to be a phase transition of an ultra dense phase in galactic cores, leading to eruption of young baryonic matter. Instead of creation of all galaxies at the same time as big bang theory postulates, galaxies are still forming and altering, and astronomy finds galaxies on all levels of their evolution process.
