Supernova 1987 A in the Large Magellanic Cloud was reobserved at 1.3 mm on July 30/31, 1989 (day 888.5). After the detection on September 7-9, 1988 with a flux density of 54 + or - 9 mJy, no measurable flux could be found during the new observation; the flux density was determined to 7.5 + or - 7.2 mJy. It is likely that the envelope has completed the process of dust formation. This dust is clearly very clumpy. The present mm-measurement is consistent with the simple black-body fit to the infrared spectral data from days 903 to 1030, and thus is consistent with the simple picture of dusty clumps partially covering the actual photosphere of the expanding former star.
