Scientific paper

Results of research and education projects which were completed at the University of North Dakota will be presented. Projects planned to be undertaken at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County will be discussed. These include computer-based introductory astronomy laboratory exercises which teach the night sky using examples in archeo-astronomy, development of the courses for an astronomy minor, and research projects in galaxy and cluster evolution. This work is funded by an NSF Grant AST-9624716.
