It is suggested that there is strong evidence for the existence of a Saturnian satellite near the G ring (a 'shepherding satellite'), with the most probable orbital radius of 170,900 km. Ground-based observations of unidentified Saturnian satellites in the years 1979-1980 are analyzed and possible orbits are found. It is suggested that the observations of 1980 S 18, 1980 S 20, and 1980 S 31 refer to the same object - a G ring outer shepherding satellite.
