The circular planar restricted problem of three bodies is examined. Two of the bodies are axisymmetric ellipsoids, such that their equatorial planes coincide with the plane of the motion of the three centers of mass, and the third is a spherical satellite with decreasing mass. Consideration is given to the effects of small perturbations in the Coriolis force and the centrifugal forces on the location of equilbrium points. It is shown that, only when the primaries have equal differences between their respective principal moments of inertia, the equilibrium points L4 and L5 form nearly equilateral traingles with the primaries S1 and S2.
