We use the Cerenkov line radiation and the moving model of quasar to
discuss the formation of some broad emission lines of quasars. Our
calculated profiles and relative intensities of the lines are in good
agreement with the observations. The Cerenkov line radiation may
therefore be important in the formation of the emission lines.
