We present preliminary results of our study of the effects on regular, chaotic and ``sticky chaotic'' orbits of collisionless particles due to a time-dependent potential. The first potential we investigate is one that reflects the overall expansion of the Universe. The other potential we will investigate reflects deviations from bulk homogeneity and isotropy.
