The gravitational collapse of a spherically symmetric star is analyzed. In conditions in which the R and T region are linked in space-time, it is shown that an ideal fluid has a surface which divides the R region in two parts. Only one of these parts is included in the curvature coordinate system in which the Schwarzschild metric is outside of the star. It is also shown that if the whole R region is included in such a coordinate system, then the collapse has a series of unusual peculiarities. These peculiarities are such that the collapse is possible only for a nonideal fluid, the boundary between the R and T regions is isotropic, and several coordinate spheres expand before entering the T region for any spherically-symmetric reference system used. The condition which satisfies the energy-momentum tensor at the boundary between the R and T regions is obtained.
