Photoelectric UBV observations of the early-contact system BH Cen are presented; 948 individual values were measured each through the V, B, and U filters. New times of minima were determined and a study of the period and ephemeris is given. The period is probably changing with a time-scale of about 50 yr; however, a precise linear ephemeris based on photoelectric observations extended over 558 cycles permitted the contruction of accurate light and color curves. Their main features are described.
