We present projected temperature, electron density, plasma pressure, and entropy maps of the galaxy cluster Abell 1689 derived from Chandra ACIS observations using three different techniques. The morphology of the pressure and entropy maps suggests that the overall dynamical state of the cluster is consistent with hydrostatic equilibrium, although we confirm the presence of a hot substructure about 170 kpc (projected) from the cluster center. We provide an estimate its effect on the measurement of the mass profile.
