The available observational data for the beginning and end heights of Draconid (Giacobinid) meteors are compared with the dustball meteor ablation theory of Hawkes and Jones, with which a good general agreement is found. Assuming that the fragile nature of the Draconid meteoroids indicates that the energy required to fragment unit mass of meteoroid material X is less than ≡105Jkg-1, the previously found minimum value, then the Draconid meteoroids have a bulk density greater than ≡200 kg m-3. The relation between comet P/Giacobini-Zinner and the Draconid meteoroids is briefly considered.
