Distributions of the ionized gas in NGC 1310 are derived based on VLA observations and optical data which reproduce the observed depolarization from the spiral galaxy. The optical distribution of the galaxy is derived from the work by Schweizer (1980), and VLA observations of the H I are taken from van Gorkom (1992). A model is developed which incorporates the depolarization with a lumpy interstellar medium, and the results are interpreted. The results indicate that the two primary ionized components are related repectively to H I emission (with a density 25 percent that of cool hydrogen atoms) and to a component that is coextensive with the general stellar content. Based on the model values are estimated for the density of electrons in the halo, the cloud-scale size of the ionized material, and the surface density of electrons near the center of the object. The volume-filling fraction and cloud density of NGC 1310 are found to be similar to those of the warm interstellar medium in the Milky Way.
