Data on color excesses and photometric distances for 4000 O and B stars is obtained from catalogs and used to construct contour plots of equal mean color excess in the Galactic plane in three maps of radius 500 pc, 1000 pc, and 2000 pc. Also presented are contour plots of mean excesses perpendicular to the plane. Attention is given to correlations with the Gould belt, a region of low reddening between 210 and 255 deg longitude, and heavy obscuration between 10 and 80 deg. Correlation is found to be close between the dust cloud distribution and the reflection nebulae. It is noted that the dust distribution is irregular, resembling localized regions of dust arms in other galaxies.
