The direction of Gaspra's north pole was determined using a control network containing 19 points identified on Galileo images obtained during the October 1991 flyby. In J2000 coordinates, the right ascension and declination are 9.5 +/- 0.9 deg and 26.7 +/- 1.2 deg, respectively. The results agree with earlier determinations based on telescopic observations of Gaspra's lightcurve.
