The angular sizes of Vesta and Ceres have been measured with a
photoelectric phase-grating stellar interferometer mounted on a 60-cm
telescope. Vesta is 0.38 arc sec + or - 10% in diameter, corresponding
to a linear size of 454 km. Ceres measures at least 0.69 arcsec.
