The petrography, mineralogy, and mineral chemistry of the highly weathered Dengli H3 chondrite found in 1976 in the Karakoom desert (Turkmenia) are presented. The meteorite contains olivine, high-Ca and low-Ca twinned pyroxenes, plagioclase, merrillite, cryptocrystalline amteiral, and opaque minerals, concluding metallic Fe, NI, troilite, and chromite. Based on its texture and composition, Dengli is classified as an H3.8 chanodrite breccia.
