The Deep Lens Survey is an ongoing wide-field survey project being carried out by a team of 20 researchers at several institutions using the MOSAIC cameras at the KPNO and CTIO 4m telescopes. The project is observing seven separate 4-square-degree patches of the sky in four filters (B,V,R,z'), producing calibrated deep photometric catalogs of millions of galaxies. The fourth year of data acquisition is underway; the data quality has been good and quite uniform. The median seeing for the R-band images has been 0.8 arcsec. The primary goals of the survey are to measure the large-scale weak lensing signal to distinguish between cosmological models, and to measure the evolution of mass clustering with redshift and use this to constrain dark energy models. In addition, we have a program of real-time detection of optical transient events, in order to probe the time-variability domain at faint magnitudes. Faint Moving objects are also discovered. Deep images and calibrated photometric catalogs are being released. We present color data from several completed DLS subfields to demonstrate the quality of data available.
