TRACER (Transition Radiation Array for Cosmic Energetic Radiation) is a large area detector built at the University of Chicago for direct measurements of heavy cosmic ray nuclei up to about 10 TeV/amu. The deconvolution of the energy spectra for different nuclei, from the data collected by TRACER, is one component of our data analysis efforts. Two methods used to estimate the spectra will be discussed and the deconvoluted spectrum for iron will be presented.
