Mathematical modelling of the observed decelerations and disappearance heights of faint photographic meteors within the scope of a simplified theory of quasi-continuous fragmentation of meteoroids enabled to estimate the density of meteoroids and the mass of large fragments. It is evident that from 92 sporadic meteors concerned 57 have been generated by meteoroids similar in their characteristics to carbonaceous chondrites; 20 by meteoroids identical with ordinary stony meteorites-chondrites; 8 by iron meteoroids; 4 by siderolites and 3 meteors by friable meteoroids of "dustball" type.
