COSMOS is an HST Treasury Project to survey a 2 square degree equatorial field with the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS). It is the largest survey that HST has ever done, utilizing 590 orbits over the course of two years (HST Cycles 12 and 13). The project also incorporates major commitments from other observatories around the world, including the VLA radio telescope, ESO's VLT in Chile, ESA's XMM X-ray satellite, and Japan's 8-meter Subaru telescope in Hawaii.
We present a summary of the various data products being produced by the COSMOS project: images across the entire spectrum (radio to X-ray), multi-wavelength catalogs comprising over two million objects, and spectral measurements of over 50,000 objects in the field. As of this meeting, a large fraction of these data are publicly available through the COSMOS archive at IRSA (http://irsa.ipac.caltech.edu/data/COSMOS/). Interested parties should visit the COSMOS/IRSA booth in the display area for additional information.
