Dirac's theories concerning large numbers and two space-times are reviewed. The Large Numbers hypothesis is based on the fact that several combinations of the fundamental constants of nature produce nondimensional numbers in the range of about 10 to the 39th to 10 to the 40th, or are integral powers of numbers in this range. It is hypothesized that all these large numbers are functions of time. The classic radius of the electron would then be proportional to time squared, which leads to the hypothesis of continuous creation of matter, either proportional to the amount of matter at locations at which there already is matter (multiplicative creation), or uniformly throughout space (additive creation).
