The current status of the Cassini mission, a joint undertaking by NASA and ASI (Agenzia Spaziale Italiana), is briefly reviewed. The Cassini mission will be composed of a Saturn Orbiter provided by NASA and a Huygens Probe provided by ESA. The Saturn Orbiter will deliver the Huygens Probe to Titan and will make repeated flybys of Titan to allow intensive study of this satellite. The cooperation between NASA and ASI is discussed with particular reference to the design and development of four important Saturn Orbiter components: High-Gain Antenna and Low-Gain Antenna-1, Radio Frequency Instrument Subsystem, Cassini Radar, and Visible and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer.
