The contribution to the continuous emission by electron scattering in an Hii region (Pottasch's suggestion) is studied. The phenomenon is evaluated for different cases, and compared with the contribution due to atomic processes. It is proved, taking into account all the possible variables, that the contribution is neglected for typical H ii regions in our Galaxy, and in other galaxies.
