The Comet Kearns-Kwee is one of the most interesting objects in cometary astronomy, because of its extremely close approach to Jupiter. In the present paper, the conditions for encounter with Jupiter and the evolution of the comet's orbit are studied on the basis of a joint analysis of two apparitions of the comet in 1963 and 1972. The disturbances from ten planets are taken into consideration.
