We choose 15257 face-on disk galaxies from Data Release 2 of Sloan Digital Sky Survey and statistically investigate their color magnitude relations. It is shown that the color g-r, r-i, r-z have tight relations with r-band magnitude, i.e., more luminous galaxies have redder colors than less luminous galaxies, and their relations have less dispersion. In the end, the implications of the observed color-magnitude relations on the star formation history of disk galaxy are discussed.
