Micrometeorites were collected in 25 centimeter flat plates on the roof of the science building at High Point University, High Point, NC. After weighing, samples were manually sorted using a metallic probe under a stereoscopic microscope into five major categories according to color. Those in the most abundant category - the ebonies - were analyzed for iron and nickel using UV-visible and AA spectrophotometry. Samples were also examined via electron dispersion spectroscopy with a scanning electron microscope. The analytical results of these techniques will be presented.
