The clustering of galaxies as a function of redshift, luminosity and spectral type provides a powerful constraint on the models of galaxy formation and evolution. We present here the preliminary results from a new wide-angle deep multicolor survey designed to measure the clustering signal at high statistical significance over the redshift range z=0 to z=1. This survey (the QUAD survey) was undertaken using the BTC camera on the CTIO 4 m telescope. The survey covers 2 sq degrees to a depth of B=25.9, V=25.2, R=24.9 and I=23.9 with a geometry that is designed to probe galaxy clustering on scales up to one degree. Using photometric-redshifts we isolate narrow intervals in redshift (dz=0.2) and measure the evolution of the amplitude of the angular correlation function. Our initial results show that the clustering evolution is consistent with fixed clustering in proper coordinates (out to z=1) and are consistent with published results from magnitude limited surveys.
