Variations in the motion of sunspots were studied using the refractors and photographic equipment of the Hannover University's Astronomical Station for collecting white-light and H-alpha observations. Photographic data on the long-term and short-term developments of sunspot groups during June 1983 are analyzed. The characteristic motions within a sunspot group is measured; the axis of inclination and the rotation behavior of the sunspots are considered. The relationship between the sunspot movement and flare activity is investigated, and diagrams of the F-group motion during June 1983 are provided.
