Chandra has performed a 1 Ms survey centered on the Hubble Deep Field North (HDF-N), detecting about 370 X-ray sources. We will present results from this survey focusing on multiwavelength source properties, stacking results, and future plans. The exceptional multiwavelength data for this field have allowed us to place the best constraints to date on the X-ray emission properties of microJansky radio sources, SCUBA sources, ISO-CAM sources, very red objects, optically faint sources, and AGN candidates. We have performed extensive follow-up spectroscopy and imaging, and redshifts are now available for more than 120 of our sources ranging from z= 0-5.2. We have also performed follow-up studies of several of the extended X-ray sources found in the field. Stacking analyses have been used to probe the average X-ray emission properties of objects that are not detected individually; these have measured the X-ray emission properties of normal galaxies at cosmologically interesting distances as well as those of Lyman break galaxies. Over the coming year the Chandra Deep Field North will be extended to 2 Ms of exposure, and we ultimately hope to push to exposures of 5-10 Ms. Such a survey would lay critical groundwork for future missions such as XEUS and Generation-X. We gratefully acknowledge funding from NASA grant NAS 8-38252 and NSF CAREER award AST-9983783.
