We present the result of a search for Cepheids in the Local Group dwarf irregular galaxy Pegasus. We identified 20 Cepheid stars with periods 0.6d < P < 15.3d, compared them with previously published Cepheids, and carried out an accurate completeness analysis in order to obtain the fraction lost. Using their period-luminosity relation, we obtain a distance for Pegasus of 950± 30 kpc.
