We examine the pairwise velocity distribution of galaxy clusters expected in a LCDM cosmology using large-scale cosmological simulations. We use the results to evaluate the likelihood of reproducing the remarkable observational characteristics of the Bullet Cluster, which has been suggested to require a large pairwise velociy of merging clusters.
