The purpose of the paper is to calculate the bulk composition of the eucrite parent asteroid. Analytical data on the chemistry of howardites are examined, and a second iteration of the mixing computation is studied. It is shown that howardites fit well into a binary mixing diagram for both their major and trace element compositions. In the mixing diagram, computed from the elemental compositions of howardites, it is found that a certain composition (PR) contains all refractory incompatible elements in quasi-C1 abundances. It is also found that the bulk composition of EPA is almost chondritic, with a considerable depletion of volatile and moderately volatile elements.
