We report on the progress of the Brown Dwarf Kinematics Project (BDKP), which aims to measure the 6D positions and velocities of all known brown dwarfs within 20 pc of the Sun and select sources of scientific interest. In this poster we report on the status of the parallax and proper motion portion of the BDKP. We are using time allocated for Stony Brook University at the Small and Moderate Aperture Research Telescope System (SMARTS) using the 1.3m telescope in Cerro Tololo Chile to measure brown dwarf parallaxes. Our observations at the SMARTS facility are conducted with queue observing, a technique which has proven successful for a parallax survey. We began taking parallax frames in January 2007 and we report here the status of our targets. We are also using a combination of SMARTS time on the 0.9m telescope in I band, the 1.5m telescope in the J band (using CPAPIR a wide field IR imager), and the MDM 1.3m telescope in J band to measure proper motions of all known L and T dwarfs. We report new proper motions for over 100 known late M, L and T dwarfs in this poster.
