Radio continuum and recombination line observations of two ultracompact (UC) HII regions, G34.26+0.15 and G5.89-0.39, are presented and compared with the bow-shock model, which explains two problems associated with UCHII regions: long lifetimes and the small number of morphological types observed. At least 5 other models have been postulated to explain these features and each predicts a different velocity structure. We are interested in detecting shocks at the leading edge of G34.26 from the radio recombination line (RRL) line widths, as well as determining the global expansion rates of both nebulae using 10 year baseline continuum observations.
