The external morphologies of Boulder 1, Station 2, and of the four samples taken from it by the Apollo 17 crew, are briefly described. The boulder is a polymict breccia, containing the following principal materials as clasts: gray competent breccias, black competent breccias, anorthositic breccias, pigeonite basalt, and coarse norite. All are enclosed in a matrix of light-colored friable breccia.
