NGC 2392 and NGC 6543 are two complex planetary nebulae where bipolar
jets have been detected. Detailed long-slit spectroscopic studies of
these two nebulae have been carried out. In this work, results obtained
for the bipolar jets are presented. In particular, their kinematical
properties and excitation conditions have been deduced.
