A comparison between Cartesian and spherical coordinates is made for the
uniform approximation to the lunar ephemeris. Best results apply for
Cartesian coordinates where polynomials of degree 29 are valid for 31
days at the precision of The Astronomical Almanac ``Daily Polynomials''.
