In this paper, the processes and the basic principle of CCD drift-scan
are introduced. The advantages and the shortcomings of CCD drift-scan
mode are discussed. The main parameters and the main tasks of several
telescopes observing with drift-scan mode are shown. Finally, the
application and the study about CCD drift-scan in China are introduced.
