UBVRI photoelectric photometry and CORAVEL radial velocities have been collected for six field RR Lyrae variables, namely SW And, YZ Cap, SW Dra, SS For, RV Phe and V440 Sgr, in order to apply the Baade-Wesselink method and determine their radii, distances and absolute luminosities. In this paper the data are presented, along with the light, color and radial velocity curves. In two following papers the application of the Baade-Wesselink method and its results will be discussed in detail.
