We have studied the ^9Be(p,γ)^10B reaction for proton bombarding energies from 35 keV to 150 keV and obtained the cross section and astrophysical S-factor. We have detected the gamma rays produced from this capture reaction in a high purity, germanium detector. A maximum of 0.80 mA of proton beam current was used on a water cooled target (natural beryllium) and the detector front face was kept within 2 cm from the target. The astrophysical significance of the results obtained will be discussed.
