Magnetized plasma outflow is a fundamental process for energy and angular momentum transport, and is important to discuss the evolution of mechanical systems. However, opinions are divergent, even on fundamental subjects, e.g., the collimation. While so-called "hoop stress paradigm" for the collimation of magnetized outflows is widely accepted, there is still room for disagreement about detailed structure of the plasma flow based on concrete solutions. The author also believes that I. Okamoto's opinion published in the Astronomical Herald is overemphasized and comments on this subject based on his own research.
