This paper compares sunspots, geomagnetic Ap indexes, numbers of solar flares of two or more, magnetic storms, and first, second, and third large magnetic storms from every solar cycle during the 17th-21st solar cycles. The results are in agreement with prediction for the geomagnetic minimum for the 21st cycle; geomagnetic activity during the 21st cycle is higher than predicted. The percentage of magnetic storms caused by three solar flares is lower than in cycles 19 and 20. Typical examples of the largest magnetic storms, the largest radio bursts resulting in magnetic storms, the severest short-wave communications disturbances in the ionosphere, and magnetic storms resulting from a large solar flare with bright mass ejection and two-ribbon flares are reported. The 22 spotless flares during the Solar Maximum Year are also analyzed.
