The abundances of 12 chemical elements in the atmospheres of 21 cool
giant stars belonging to open clusters and moving groups have been
determined by a modified differential curve of growth method. In the
solar neighborhood the iron abundance diminishes by approximately 0.8
dex in the direction toward the galactic anticenter.
