We report on the quantitative electronic spectroscopy of cyanodiacetylene in far-UV (accessed by the absorption of synchrotron radiation) and in mid-UV ranges. The assignment of vibronic bands in mid-UV is assisted by quantum-chemical calculations of vibrational frequencies in the excited electronic state, at ab-initio (CIS) and time-dependent DFT levels of theory.
