The reevaluation of Newton's laws by Riemann is summarized, and
arguments for and against Newton's mass attraction are briefly stated.
The application is examined of Newtonian mass attraction laws to two
masses on curved paths, double stars with different large masses, and a
small mass orbiting a larger planet orbiting a central star.
