Solar Eclipses: 1992 December 24, Solar Eclipses: Atomic Clocks, Comparisons: Atomic Clocks
Scientific paper
During the partial solar eclipse on 24 December 1992, time comparisons
between atomic clocks were made: direct comparisons between different
clocks at one and the same station, clock transport comparisons, GPS
comparisons and LOC comparisons. It is concluded from the observations
that a solar eclipse exerts an influence on the rate of atomic clocks.
